Mr. Larry Lorenz -
President

Thirty years of international
experience in business,
manufacturing, engineering,
marketing and finance. Mr.
Lorenz lives in Vancouver and
also serves as a Director and
Management representative of
the IBIS International Group of
Companies based in Switzerland.
IBIS is an international
business consortium that
undertakes business and
financial transactions,
particularly international
project development and merchant
banking, specializing in
business development and
investment.
Mr. Lorenz's Genera
Pacific
focus is on business
development, international
investment and merchant banking,
consulting services and trading
through affiliate offices
worldwide.
In 1983 Mr. Lorenz signed one of
the first Canadian based
International Joint Ventures
Contracts with the People's
Republic of China to establish a
manufacturing plant in the City
of Xian. Has been active
in doing business in China since
1983.
Since January 1998, Mr. Lorenz
has also been the President and
CEO of Dragon Diamond
Corporation, a US public company
whose diamond interests are in
emerging nations. Mr. Lorenz
acts as a diamond industry
consultant for developing and
operational companies whose
interests are in the emerging
nations.
Since January 30, 1999 Mr.
Lorenz has been a Director of
popmachine.com Corporation, a US
public company whose interests
are in Internet Music business
Project Coordinator for Baars
Engineering, (1988 - present), a
Vancouver, B.C. based Consulting
company providing 'Manufacturing
and Engineering Services for the
Manufacturing and Process
Industries'.
Former president and chief
executive officer of the Canim
Group of Companies, which
specialized in Consulting,
Construction and Project
Development. Responsibilities
included the design, manufacture
and marketing of highly
technical products, primarily in
the industrial, manufacturing
and commercial marketplace.
Served as a delegate for 1995
IPAC conferences held in the
Southern African States to
discuss and present papers on
the "Benefits of Establishing a
Host Country Value Added
Industry".
Past member of the Board of
Directors for the B.C. Division
of the "Canadian Manufacturers
Association". Represented the
B.C. Manufacturers Association
on the B.C. Equipment Tax
Committee, presented various
"Briefs" and "Presentations" to
the British Columbia Government
Cabinet.
